hey stephanie here

We are back after last week getting ready for the wizard of oz birthday party.  So this week we will be posting lots of ideas from the party.
Here is our scarecrow We bought the scarecrow on clearance last year.  It was actually in my yard until last week.  We made the fence and corn stocks.  Today I am going to show you how to make the corn stocks using this

Paper lunch bags and paper towel tubes.  First you cut the paper bags like so
then you open the bag up and squish it up in your hands
It will look something like this then you start hot gluing the bags on to the paper towel tubes
I also cut some bags into long triangles and added them on the bag to fill in any bare spots and cover up where the bags where added on.

keep adding till you have covered the paper towel tube.
we then took a long narrow strip of cardboard and place 3 tubes on each one

and you get something that looks like this.  Then Mindy cut the shape of the fence out of cardboard and her family painted it.
We hung a white sheet behind the scarecrow and place construction paper crows, clouds, and a sun on the sheet
stay tuned for more ideas this week
