As much as I have enjoyed doing the 12 days of Christmas for both of my kids teachers, I am glad it is over lol. Day 12 was by far the simplest day of all but also the most expensive. I really hope the teachers enjoyed these last 12 days!
Here is Day 12.

12 Days of Christmas ( Day 11)
I think Day 11 is one of my favorites. You can make it out to be whatever you want. We sent in candy and some stuff that I had left over from my last craft show.

12 Days of Christmas ( Day 10)
I honestly can't believe how much the girls are enjoying this. I think they may be disappointed when this week if over lol.
For Day 10 we did something simple again but useful ( especially in cold and flu season!)

12 Days of Christmas ( Day 7)
Well we made it through the first 7 days. The girls are still so excited to take gifts in everyday and I know the teachers are loving it to. I have did my best to make them nice but not really expensive gifts.
Here is Day 7
Here is Day 7
12 Days of Christmas ( Day 6)
We woke up to a 2 hour delay today since temps were 0 and the wind chill was in the negatives. I think I am already sick of winter and it has just gotten started! The only good thing about the 2 hour delay was the fact that I had a little more time to put together the gifts for Day 6. I had a horrible headache last night and didn't get it done.
Here you go!

12 Days of Christmas ( Day 5)
It has been so cold and snowy here in Indiana that I am really surprised we have gotten all 5 days in so far. Luckily the snow falls on the weekend so my girls don't miss school ( and don't miss taking in their presents!) They were excited for today because they love stuff from Bath and Body Works. I had bought numerous bottles of soap and let them pick out the one they wanted.
Here is Day 5
If anyone else is doing the 12 days of Christmas I would love to know how it is going.

12 days of Christmas for teachers (Day 2)
I was afraid we weren't going to get Day 2 in because of all the snow we got here in Indiana but we lucked out with a 2 hour delay. We got about 4 inches this morning and we have snow coming down again!! I hope it clears out before my craft show tomorrow.
Anyways, both girls came home excited and said their teachers thought this was neat and asked if they were going to bring them a present every day! Of course they got to say yes!
Here is the poem for day 2
Did you miss Day 1? Here it is

Tasty Tuesday Beaded Serving spoon and fork
Hello Everyone
Sorry No recipe tonight. But I got a little craft/Christmas gift for you tonight. Mindy told me about these a few weeks ago. And I finally got around to making them. These are for a friend for Christmas. They are very easy and really cutie.
I went to the dollar tree and got this serving spoon and fork.
I already had beads and wire from making jewelry so all I spent was $2.00 but it would not cost very much for the supplies.
All you have to do is cut about a arms length of wire and start wrapping it around the serving items. I start at the back. Then add beads as I get to the front. And keep wrapping down as far as you want the beads to go. I think next time I will go farther down.
when you get as far down as you want to go work you way back up to the top the same way you did.
Next tuck the wire ends in so there is no sharp edges. So simple and I think a nice gift.
Now the big question should I make a set for Mindy or should I let her figure out how to make them herself? HA HA
Hope you guys like this idea if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

buckeyes Yum
I usually make the buckeyes with rice krispies. Scott does not like them at all so this year I was looking through my candy recipes and found a recipe for buckeyes with no rice krispies so thought I would try them. So I made these and had him try them. He said they were good. Then a few days later I saw him eating another one. Well let me tell you him eating them again really means a lot. So I thought I would share the recipe on here. Hope you try them there really good.
Step 1
Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper; set it aside. Using a wooden spoon, mix together the peanut butter, sugar, butter, vanilla extract, and graham crackers, if desired, in a large bowl. (The dough will look dry.)
Step 2
Roll the dough into 1-inch balls. Set them on the prepared cookie sheet and insert a toothpick into each ball. Chill them in the freezer until hard, about 30 minutes.
Step 3
Melt the chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl set atop a pot of simmering water over medium-high heat. Stir continuously until smooth. Remove the pan from the heat. Using the toothpick as a handle, dip the balls into the melted chocolate, leaving a small circle at the top uncovered. Place the dipped candies back on the cookie sheet and refrigerate until the chocolate is set, about 2 hours. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Peanut
Butter Buckeyes
Kids will have a ball making these rich treats. Although the centers are traditionally creamy, you can add graham crackers to the mix if you prefer crunchy.
Makes about 7 dozen buckeyes.

Tasty Tuesady Fudge in the Microwave
Since Mindy made all those cookies Saturday I decided to make candy on Sunday I did not get as much done as her but I did get some made.
Today I am going to share with you a idea a saw on pinterest it was for fudge in the microwave. I went to the sight and realized it was the same recipe I use just made in the microwave. So much easier. And just as good. Here is the recipe
I am so glad I found this recipe I hated the stirring part of the original recipe.
Hint I line my 9 inch pan with aluminum foil to make it easier to remove the fudge

Fudge
18
oz chocolate chips
1 can sweet condensed milk
pinch of salt
3/4 cup nuts
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 can sweet condensed milk
pinch of salt
3/4 cup nuts
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
In heavy
saucepan, over low heat, melt chips, butter, and sweet condensed milk. Stirring the whole time. Remove from heat, and
add remaining ingredients. Pour in 9 inch square pan. Chill a few hours, then
cut into squares.
Variation: White Fudge: Use 1 1/2 pounds white confectionery candy coating instead of chocolate chips
Now to make it in the microwave simply put choc chips, sweet condensed milk and butter in the microwave for 3 minutes. Remove for microwave and stir till everything is melted add rest of ingredients and follow rest of directions. Whatever Wednesday ( Hot Chocolate Reindeer) and another giveaway!
I made up quite a few of these for the craft show that I did Saturday and I sold every one of them. I could have sold more if I would have had them.
They are really easy to make. First take a clear pastry bag and add as much hot chocolate as you would like ( I added 2 cups). Add some mini marshmallows on top and tie up the bag ( I just used brown yarn to tie it) Add a small red pom pom and some googly eyes and there you go. These would make cute gifts for teachers or assistants or anyone you just want a small gift for.
Now for another Giveaway! Comment on this post to win a menu board. See posts yesterday for rules if you have any questions.

christmas cards day 3
Well we didn't get to make as many Christmas cards last week as I planned on I wanted to make them at least 4 days. So we took Wednesday off to watch a Christmas show. Then Friday one of my little ones got sick and since they are all in the same family they all went home really early. So we only got to do 3 days.
This card is really cutie.
All you need is a blank card or card stock cut in half and folded in half.
different colors of construction paper.
a hole punch
glue
and markers.
![]() |
I cut card stock in half and then folded each half in half. To make my cards. Then I let my children |
![]() |
then I let the children use hole punches to punch out a lot of holes from the construction paper |
![]() |
then I put glue dots in a random pattern around the edges of the cards and let the children put the construction paper dots on the glue |

Childrens Christmas Day 2 more cards
We used construction paper strips to make Christmas tree cards today
the first picture was made by the 9 year old girl I watch and the picture below was made by the 3 year old I watch
These are very simple to make you just cut strips of brown and green construction paper and glue them down to your card
First you glue the brown down to be the trunk of the tree.
then you glue your green strips across the brown.
My kids wanted to add decorations so they used holes punched out of construction paper and glued them on to the trees.
I think they turned out pretty cute
Merry Christmas to each and everyone of you
Stephanie
